Accessibility

ICORA MED aims to make its training usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion. We measure ourselves against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we have done

• Every text and interface colour pair in both the light and dark themes has been measured against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds.
• The whole site can be operated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link at the top of each page.
• Quiz and assessment questions are grouped so a screen reader announces the question together with its answer options.
• The assessment timer is announced at intervals to screen-reader users, and the low-time warning is given in words as well as colour.
• Motion is reduced automatically when your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
• Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and the site works at increased zoom.

Known limitations

Our assessment is based on internal testing rather than an independent audit, and we have not yet completed formal testing with assistive-technology users. Course materials supplied as PDFs, and any embedded video, may not yet meet the same standard — video captions in particular depend on the source material. We are addressing these as the course library grows.

Timed assessments

Final assessments are timed because the time limit is part of the assessment. If a time limit prevents you from demonstrating your knowledge because of a disability, contact us before you begin and we will make a reasonable adjustment, such as additional time.

If you meet a barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us through the contact form. Describe the page and what happened, and include the assistive technology and browser you were using if you can. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues and will acknowledge them within five working days.
